After analysing the area, couple of problems were noted;

One of them was, the campus area was completely closed off from the city and was only used for classes, and the other one was it did not act like a student centre with all the vehicle roads inside it. The design plan was to solve all of these issues while ensuring there's enough space for the class amphotheatres and multi use amphitheatre. Design goals can be listed as;

1. Eliminating the boundaries around to campus to ensure city, campus and river connections.

2. Making sure the urban texture around the campus flows inside. Creating street like areas for campus to feel like a part of the city.

3. Creating a new social area in Odunpazari district and helping out the campus.

4. With social areas, a 24/7 alive campus where citizens can benefit from campus facilities.

5. Contuniuty of Eskisehir's pedestrian oriented layout. Also prioritizing the public transport inside the campus.
