Level Blockout | Dark Souls 3 Inspired





On this personal project my Goal was to analyse Dark Souls 3 Levels, especially Irithyll of the Boreal Valley and Catacombs of Carthus and practice level design with designing my own.

I used Unreal Engine 5.3.2 to create the blockout.Blueprint coding and entire design is done by me, props and animations are from packages mentioned above. To create the blockout I used modular pieces (like windows, doors, columns etc) from the packages and used unreal's built-in modelling mode to merge them with my initial blockout.


Used asset packages were; Infinity Blade: Props, UCreate - Gothic Catedral Asset Pack, Polygon-Prototype Pack, Ancient Golem, 91 Interaction Mocap Animations, Ultimate Traversal Anims, Handsome Sword Combat Animations
